Headquarters and registered office of FLOWBOX company moves to a new address Videnska 400, 25250 Vestec from February 1, 2021. 

As of February 1st, 2021 Roman Garba has been appointed to the position commercial director of FLOWBOX. Roman has deep business and technical knowledge from his previous assignments, as well as strategy formulation and implementation experience. Roman worked for multi-national ICT and management consultancy companies in Europe and the Middle East. His hobby is archaeology and photography.  

Petr Vaněk presented the advantages of the FLOWBOX solution as the only representative of the business sphere at the conference Infrastructure in Regions/ Smart Regions on February 1, 2021 organized by Ing. Milan Pour, Member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. 

 

AWARDS 

FLOWBOX-BASED  SMART CITY SOLUTION RECEIVED AWARD IN THE SMART CITIES 2020 COMPETITION     

FLOWBOX is proud partner of the winning project in Smart City category. Zruč nad Sázavou won Smart City category of Municipal project 2020 competition by Energy supervision and management project. Zruč nad Sázavou became real smart city.     

 

FLOWBOX  AS A KEY PART OF THE AXIOM SOLUTION, WHICH WON A AWARD IN THE SMART CITIES 2020 COMPETITION    

THE SMART CITIES 2020 competition, organized by the Smart City Innovations Institute under the auspices of the Ministry for Regional Development of the Czech Republic and the Union of Towns and Municipalities of the Czech Republic, focused on the innovations of smart municipalities, cities and regions. AXIOM platform won a special jury award for contribution to technology integration. 
 
“To this year’s 4th year of the SMART CITY Competition, over 180 projects entered and the competition was huge, not only in terms of quantity, bud above all in quality. This year, the expert jury, consisting of more than thirty members, had perhaps the most difficult decision – making of all the previous years. During the two – round evaluation, its members assessed the extent to which the submitted solutions and projects meet the 4 pillars of SMART CITY, which are Feasibility, Sustainability, Saving and Awareness or openness of data and public involvement. For many projects, the expert jury also carried about a remote on-line evaluation at the place of project implementation by means of distance communication.” Wrote in his press release the competition organizer, Smart City Innovations Institute. 
 
The AXIOM platform was created in cooperation with companies FLOWBOX, Axians, OMEXOM and Z.L.D.. The platform was created thanks to a unique combination of our companies know-how and also thank to the real needs of customers. The uniqueness of the project lies in the flexible way of connecting various platforms of Czech production and the dynamics of integration of the latest trends and technologies independently of the hardware manufacturer.

 

NEW BUSINESS PARTNERS  

E.ON | Czech Republic 
The list of Flowbox business partners is growing quickly together with geographical expansion. Recently, Flowbox signed agreement with  E.ON (www.eon.cz) for roll-out of solutions based on Flowbox  digitalization platform in the Czech Republic. This will strenghten Flowbox’s position in energy sector.   
 
IVV AUTOMAÇÃO | Portugal & Spain  
New partner agreement was signed with system integrator IVV Automação (www.ivv-aut.com) for installations of Flowbox-based solutions in Portugal and Spain (via parent company AFORSEC). These important new markets increased Flowbox’s footprint in Europe.

 

NEW DIGITALIZATION PROJECTS

MAXION WHEELS CZECH | Czech Republic 

We completed the installation of the FLOWBOX platform in the industrial sector at Maxion Wheels Czech s.r.o., which is the world’s largest manufacturer of wheels of vehicles of all types. The old energy measurement system was replaced here.

 
PRAHA 2 | Czech Republic
We completed the installation of the FLOWBOX platform in the buildings of the City of Prague 2.

 
OMEXOM | Czech Republic 
In cooperation with our partner INEL we implemented the heating control of the OMEXOM warehouse building in Nekmíř to reduce the energy consumption of the historic building, which is heated by the hot air Sahara and radiators. To increase savings we have fitted doors and windows with wireless magnets to block heating. We have added a calendar with the possibility to schedule a different temperature for certain days, for example for carrying out inventories.
